Organs, Molecules and Ribbons #11

I think of these oil and wax medium paintings as tiny windows into a parallel landscape where the viewer is offered a secret peak at the inner workings of something not usually visible or fully understood to the human eye. Certain shapes are suggestive but maintain a kind of organic ambiguity. I think that the memory of looking through a microscope at slides of a cell for the first time is present in the spirit of these paintings.
